The mission is simple: Travel to Lagos, save the Brownies, and don’t die in the process. Unfortunately for paranormal investigator Miss Beatrice Knight, her employer is a werewolf which means nothing is ever simple. Upon arrival, Miss Knight is insulted by the police, chased by a vampire, and visited by a talking chimp. Everything is going according to plan, just not her plan. At least they serve tea in the colonies, but will that be enough to survive the night? (This book is not part of the boxset.)
More info →Miss Knight and the Pyramid’s Puzzle
Paranormal investigator Beatrice Knight has no interest in pyramids, artifacts, or ocean voyages. So of course her werewolf employer gives her a precious relic to safeguard, then sends her to Egypt on a steamship. While it's no pleasure cruise, Miss Knight is almost enjoying the break from Victorian London. Before she can get too comfortable, she’s attacked by a thief, bombarded by birds, and haunted by her recently deceased husband. But when someone steals the puzzle, it’s all hands on deck. Will Miss Knight solve the mystery in time to stop a war? (This book is not part of the boxset.)
More info →Miss Knight & the Ghosts of Tsavo
Armed with Victorian etiquette, a fully loaded walking stick and a dead husband, Beatrice Knight arrives in colonial Kenya desperate for a pot of tea and a pinch of cinnamon. But she’ll need more than that if she’s to unravel the mystery of the Ghosts of Tsavo without being eaten in the process. She must endure all manner of inconveniences while surviving the machinations of her best friend’s dashing godfather and the efforts of her safari guide to feed her to any lion willing to drag her away. What is a ghost-chasing widow to do?
More info →Miss Knight & The Automaton’s Wife
Beatrice Knight has enough to contend with: a zebra is dead on her lawn, her horse is possessed and a gentleman has arrived with the temerity to propose to her. To top it off, her dead husband Gideon has absconded with an automaton, threatening to return for his wife. The wife in question however soon has other issues, for a killer has moved into town with a nasty habit of carving up the victims. As luck should dictate, who should be the next target but Mrs Knight herself?
More info →Miss Knight & the Mantis’ Revenge
All is proceeding as it should for Beatrice Knight. That is, until the African Lightning God lands in her barn and announces that Mrs. Knight’s arch nemesis is about to pay an unsolicited visit. This time, the giant Praying Mantis Koki won’t be so easily dissuaded from exacting revenge against the intrepid paranormal investigator. Mrs. Knight must now answer one critical question: what, or whom, is she prepared to sacrifice in order to defeat the Mantis? As if that isn’t heart-wrenching enough, Mr. Timmons boldly presents a possibility too terrible to consider, yet too tempting to refuse. Now, if only she could survive long enough to make a decision…
More info →Miss Knight & The Fourth Mandate
Having offered her firm and unequivocal resignation, Beatrice Knight is certain she is clear of her former employer, the Society for Paranormals, and is now free to proceed with her life and a wedding. It all seems quite simple, until the Society’s Director Prof Runal shows up at the train station, her cousin announces horrifying news and a ponytailed dwarf decides he needs her powers to eradicate all non-humanoid paranormals. At least one thing is certain: anything is manageable with a pot of tea and a fully loaded walking stick.
More info →Miss Knight & the Nandi’s Curse
Mrs. Beatrice Knight is preparing to move into a life of marital bliss, or at least marital satisfaction, with her new husband who fortunately is very much alive and can’t float through walls. While she is no expert on honeymoons, she’s certain that they shouldn’t involve brainless heads, bloodsucking fireflies and Bubonic Plague. These however are mere inconveniences, for there’s another threat of greater significance: the Nandi are rising up against their colonial masters and are determined to rid the land of all things British. The intrepid Mrs. Knight faces all this with her usual aplomb, her hefty walking stick and, of course, a pot of tea. But will her marriage survive?

Hi William — I’m not writing the Ghost Post mysteries right now, although one day I hope to come back to them as I really love them (although they didn’t do as well as my current series, Society for Paranormals).
Enjoyed this series very much. The stories are addictive. I hope there are many more books to come with Beatrice.
So glad you are enjoying the series, Helen! yes there is more coming…
I just finished cases 1+2, of the cozy steamship mysteries. I greatly enjoyed them. When can I expect to see book#3?
Hi Helen – I’m currently working on book 3. Due date early June.

Vered
I am a huge fan of your writing. I cannot wait for the release of “Death in a Teacup”. Please keep them coming. I don’t ever want Beatrice’s adventures to end. The supporting characters are equally enjoyable.
Thanks – Miss Knight has no intention of disappearing anytime soon!
I really loved the ghosts of tsavo. I look forward to reading many more of your wonderful stories in the future.
Thanks, Pauline! Glad you enjoyed it.
I enjoyed reading the first Beatrice Knight book, it was both entertaining and humorous. The descriptions of African life was also a plus.
Awesome – glad you enjoyed it! Hope you get a chance to read the rest – my personal favorites are books 6 and 7.
Can’t wait for “Death in a Teacup”
Thanks – me too!
I really loved the first four books. Any chance you might think about doing another bundle of the next 3 books in the series?
Keep up this marvelous series.
Hi Karen – glad you enjoyed them! I’m not planning on creating another box set at this time. It’s a lot of work, and my focus is writing new books. In future, when I have more time and a budget, I might consider it.
Thank you for you for your quick reply. Keep up the good work.
Now I must be off, I have to catch the next flying horse to Africa and start the next book in the series.
Looking forward to the Cozy Tea Shoppe mysteries!
Thanks, Mira! Me too!
I love your books, they are so much fun. I can’t wait for the new series to come out. Keep me posted!
Thanks, Dee – I’ll definitely let you know!
Where can I get Murder for Tea
Hi Barbara – Murder for Tea will be released mid this year. If you want to know the exact date, the best thing is to sign up to my newsletter. You get a few free stories as a bonus, and you’ll be the first to know when the next book is launched.
I stumbled across Ghosts of Tsavo in related reads in one of the books I was reading. It was free so I thought what the hey. Absolutely loved it! Really addictive and can’t wait for the next one.
Thanks Maria! I’m thrilled you enjoyed it. Book 7 is coming out end of the month and will include 7 free books on launch day!
Just finished book 7. That was great and i cant wait for the Cozy Tea Shoppe Mystery series!
Glad you enjoyed it, Maria!
Just finished the Beatrice Knight books – good fun. A little steampunk thrown in as well as a heroine I could fall for if I were living at the right time and the right country!
I’m keeping an eye open for Book 7.
Keep it up 🙂
Thanks, Frank!
I enjoyed your paranormal society series and look forward to the next book. Weaving mythological lore with historical time periods are among my favorite stories as well as strong female heroines. Among recommending books the “Parasol Protectorate ” is another similar series I have enjoyed. While I am American the lore of our Irish decent was taught to us and a song belief to never dismiss it as complete fantasy, that all legends grow from a seed of truth. This I am sure is why I am drawn to stories written in that manner. Keep up the good work and I look forward to your next book.
Thanks Renee – glad you enjoyed it! I love mythology and I agree that there is often a grain of truth tucked inside.
These books are fabulous! With tongue firmly in cheek, Mrs. Beatrice Knight bravely and cheerfully researches oddities, fights monsters and always manages to keep her Victorian unflappability. A treat to read, and as addictive as the cream cakes at a tea party – you just have to reach for another one (and another, and another…)!
Hi Wanda – I’m so glad you enjoyed the books. Let me know if you are able to leave any reviews. I give away short stories for reviews of the first four books, because every review really is important!
Cheers
Vered

I’m working on book 7 right now! Hopefully by end of year it will be done.
