Every year, a group of authors (myself included) and editors get together to create a collection of Christmas-related short stories and publish them in a lovely book called Christmas Lites. All the proceeds from the book sales go to support the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence (http://www.ncadv.org). This organisation helps victims of domestic abuse and gives them a safe place to go. Apart from enjoying a diverse range of writing styles and genres to suite any literary preference, the reader also has the satisfaction of supporting a great charity.
