Last week I wrote a post about a monkey sneaking through my office window and snatching up my apple. In hindsight, it was an entertaining incident. Lots of hindsight. At the time, I was NOT amused.
After I shared this story with my husband, he became very agitated:
Him: The monkey took your apple?
Him: Did you get it back?
Me: Ah, no, and I don’t want it back.
Him: You don’t?!!!
Me: No. The monkey ate it.
Him: The monkey ate your laptop?
That’s when the limitation of verbal storytelling dawned on me: you can’t hear the capital or lack thereof. There’s a big difference between an apple and an Apple.
Fortunately, that won’t be an issue for you when you read my books. Without further delay, I’m delighted to announce the once-in-a-blue-and-purple-moon, crazy sale on the Society box set.
Containing the first four books in the series (with a total of 380+ reviews!), the box set usually sells for $5.99, which is a pretty good deal to begin with. But for the next few days only, it’s on sale for 99c. Yup, that’s less than $1. Seriously, what can you buy for $1 these days that will provide hours of entertainment?!
So here are the links to the various bookstores. If you haven’t had a chance to read any of the first four books, now is your chance to grab a great deal. But it’s only on until Saturday night. Enjoy!
